Carver afterschool program
Carver is excited to announce that we are in the development stage of an afterschool program that will serve students K-5.
The beauty of this afterschool program will be Carver's collaboration with the prestigious Bridges Outreach program. Bridges has done incredible things within the Kokomo school system for the last 20 years, and now will partner with Carver to broaden their reach. This will be an opportunity for Bridges to engage students even outside of Kokomo's school system to bring faith based mentoring and tutoring to Carver's space.
Carver is thrilled to host Bridges and let them lead two days a week, but Carver has some things in store for youth as well. Presently we have a number of programs active that we are excited to make available to the youth within this program: Robotics; Art class; Instrument lessons; Chess Club; and Open gym to utilize our beautiful facilities. Parents during registration will have a chance to specify, outside of open gym, what areas of interest they'd like for their child to explore.
