Carver Community Center, Inc. is most well-known for the tradition of basketball, echoing throughout the building. Youth and adults of all ages travel from miles around to watch and participate in Carver's camps, clubs, and teams. Our basketball programs range from grades K and up through adults for both males and females.
Our 2024-2025 Winter Youth Basketball League is drawing near. Registration is now Open.
Individual Registration is $90 from October 1st thru November 22nd.

There is a fee for Adding Players & must be approved by director. There will be a Penalty Fee any Additional players added without approval.
Game Day schedules for Each Division
K-2nd Grade: Tuesdays
3rd-5th Grade: Thursdays
6th-8th Grade & High School: Saturdays
Once individuals have all been placed on a team, practice days and times will be given. Teams will have a set practice day and time for the duration of the season (subject to change at any time).
NOTE: There are 3 types of teams: Carver teams created from individual registrations, Carver teams that coaches have decided to keep from pervious year (opt out of draft), and outside teams that do not have a Carver team name. *Only teams that have a Carver name get priority for practice time at Carver. Non-Carver team names do not receive practice time at Carver. Typical practice days are on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Membership: Every registrant for the Winter Basketball league is now a member of Carver Community Center. All consents including: I consent to Carver’s use of photographs or likeness of myself and anyone assigned to me or my child(ren) for use in promotional materials or team films; I release Carver Community Center, its board, staff or volunteers from liability in event of accident or injury for myself, or as a parent/guardian to my child(ren); I consent for my child(ren) to participate in Carver programs; I give permission for my child to walk home; As a parent/guardian, I give permission for my child(ren) to use the internet. Draft, Assessment, Selection process: Anything after the registration deadline is considered late registration. Player assessment and draft night typically will be the following week after the end of the registration period. Children of coaches, and siblings, can be left on the table, or first picks at the preference of the coach up to pick. Beyond the end of registration date, there are no accommodations that will be made for siblings being selected to play together, or coaches child, for the same team. The late registrant will be placed on the next team up, where the draft left off.
There will be a new thing happening with jerseys. The change in use of our jerseys for players does not change the registration amount to play in our league. We value the quality, competitiveness and learning atmosphere that we provide and put forth. Also, this helps the appearance of our league by ensuring everyone is wearing the same jersey. A lot of times kids walk in and don't have their jerseys. That's not a good look for Carver or the team. The coaches learn this information during the draft and should effectively communicate the message to all parents. The fee associated with this league, and the admission price to enter the facilities help us to cover the necessary costs to provide this service. Thank you for your understanding!
