Chris Tucker was in town! The day filled with excitement due to the presence of the Rush Hour star brought an electricity to the city of Kokomo unlike any other time. Juneteenth, a celebration of freedom for enslaved Africans on American soil in 1865 has brought people of all ethnic backgrounds together for one common truth. The one an only language we should be engaging in is Love for one another. With Music provided by DJ Pugh, the support of the Kokomo Housing Authority and their resource tables, and to all of the amazing vendors that provided food, Chris Tucker being such a gracious person, the spirit of this event was incredible. Thank you to all who participated!
