Carver Community Center Inc.'s Summer Celebration is a fun-filled day of food, beer, wine, and music to benefit the center’s programs. We will have local restaurants featured at the event and some of the best barbecue in the city.
Carver Community Center, Inc. is a non-profit community center based in Howard County (Indiana) that was founded in 1947 in response to the lack of recreation facilities for African-American youth. Since then, it has expanded into a center that serves thousands of youth and adults of all races and nationalities in Kokomo. Our programs for youth and adults include tutoring, basketball, boxing, art, pickleball, volleyball, and other education and health programs.
All proceeds directly support our youth and family programs, facility improvement projects and the daily operations of our center.
